For the proud price, buyers receive the perfume in a bottle with a gilded dog paw. And for the beloved pet, there's also a dog collar with a Dolce&Gabbana medallion.

The animal rights organization PETA criticized that such a scent could cause stress in animals. Dogs "have hundreds of millions more receptors in their nostrils and can smell 10,000 to 100,000 times better than humans," explained PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk. The perfume could "impair their ability to perceive other scents in their environment and communicate with other animals they encounter."
