Defendant convicted in Boxberg "Reichsbürger" trial

A 55-year-old man has been sentenced to 14 years and six months in prison for attempted murder in several cases for shooting at a special task force in Boxberg, Baden. This was decided by the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court on Wednesday.

The conviction highlights the court's interest in curbing extremist processes related to the "Reichsbürger" movement, which sometimes lead to criminal acts such as terrorism and violence. This conviction serves as a stern warning against the glorification of crime, including acts of extremism and terrorist ideologies.
