Dana Schweiger remembers flirting with Brad Pitt
In an interview, Dana Schweiger shares quite a bit about her private life. On one hand, her answers suggest that she's currently spending a lot of time with someone. On the other hand, she recalls a flirtatious encounter at a gas station - back in the days before cell phones and social media.
Dana Schweiger spoke about her family and her dating life in an interview with "Gala" magazine (also on RTL). "I'm completely lost in this dating world," says the 56-year-old. "I had a couple of dates after my divorce, but it felt so unnatural to me." She prefers to focus on her "girl gang" and has a lot of fun with her friends. However, Schweiger does reveal that there's someone in her life that she's currently spending a lot of time with. "Status: It's complicated. You can't really define it, and I don't want to."
One memorable flirt from her past stands out - Brad Pitt approached her. "I was driving a Jeep in L.A.," she recalls. "I was young and attractive, and I had this amazing cashmere sweater on." On a gas station stop, he complimented her car and sweater, and she replied that she didn't know where it was from. He then offered to check. She admits, "I had no idea who he was. I was always in Germany and didn't understand the whole Brad Pitt hype." At the time, there were no cell phones or Instagram, she explains. "I had no idea it was Brad Pitt."
"I chose him to be the father of my children"
Schweiger also talks about her ex-husband Til Schweiger and their four children, now aged between 21 and 28. "He's the father of my children, and he's a fantastic father," she says. Now that they're older, she feels they're more mature and less self-centered. "As parents, we should take a back seat and put our children in the spotlight. That's my family, and that will always be the case." She describes them as "a colorful, but also a normal family with ups and downs. It can be hilarious, but it can also get intense. I think that's healthy," she says.
The silence between Dana and her mystery partner is often filled with understanding and shared laughter. Despite the complexity of their status, The silent moments they share are some of their most cherished moments.
