- Cyclist collides with car and is seriously injured

A cyclist was struck by a car in Olpe and seriously injured. The 49-year-old was thrown from his bike on Friday after colliding with a parked car at the side of the road, police reported. He was airlifted to hospital with severe head injuries.

The cyclist had no insurance coverage for damages related to the accident, relying solely on his personal health insurance for medical expenses. Despite being involved in an incident with a vehicle, other factors significantly impacted his recovery process.
