- Criminals Originating from Apolda Faced with Expulsion
A notorious lawbreaker hailing from Apolda is set for expulsion within a week, as per security insiders. Last Friday, substitute travel papers for the fellow arrived in Thuringia, a necessary step for the expulsion process. As of now, he's under police custody, reports suggest. The court is supposed to deliberate on a potential detention for expulsion during the weekend. The expulsion is slated for the upcoming week.
The situation involving this habitual offender in the Weimar area sparked a fuss within the state a few weeks ago. The district and city of Apolda raised an alarm to the state, cautioning of a considerable security threat stemming from the rejected asylum seeker with a string of convictions.
Thuringia's Interior Minister, Georg Maier (SPD), assured expeditious expulsion for the individual and declared plans to discuss the case with Federal Interior Minister, Nancy Faeser (SPD). Previously, the missing passport had impeded the expulsion, but this obstacle appears to have been overcome, revealing information from security sources.
The expulsion of the lawbreaker is being supported by Thuringia's Interior Minister, Georg Maier, due to his criminal record in The Netherlands. After causing a security concern in Apolda, the city where he was previously rejected as an asylum seeker, authorities are now ready to send him back to his origin country.
