After a dispute at a Kerb festivity in Usingen, High Taunus district, one of the involved individuals reportedly attacked law enforcement officials, as stated in police records. Two officers endured minor injuries during the occurrence, which took place near the end of the Kerb event in the Eschbach district on a Friday night. The 23-year-old suspect was said to have been involved in the skirmish. As officers attempted to log the event, the man showed extreme aggression, leading to his detainment. He resisted, assaulted, and insulted several officers. Further, intoxicated Kerb attendees supported the aggressive man in hindering the police, necessitating a larger police presence. Eventually, the suspect was apprehended, and a blood sample was obtained. Witnesses are being sought by the police.

Moreover, a security guard at the celebration requested a heavily intoxicated attendee to depart. Despite multiple requests, the man declined and assaulted the guard during the escort off the premises. The attacker repeatedly struck the guard in the face with his fists. Witnesses are also being sought by the police in this matter.

The use of force by the police was justified in the situation where the suspect attacked law enforcement officers during the Kerb event. Subsequently, some Kerb attendees interfered in the use of appropriate control measures by the police.
