Demonstration of Affection and Harmony: Happening under the banner "Love Prevails", the Tech-procession 'Dance The World' is being held today in Berlin, orchestrated by Dr. Motte, the originator of Loveparade. Approximately 300,000 individuals are anticipated to participate.

For the third edition of the colossal "Rave the World" techno procession, around 300,000 individuals are anticipated in Berlin today. The festive protest rally will follow the route of the Love Parade, organized by Dr. Motte, along Straße des 17. Juni in Tiergarten, stretching from the Brandenburg Gate to the Großer Stern.

Approximately 300 artists and speakers

As per organizers, around 300 artists and speakers, 30 parade floats will be partaking in the event throughout the day. According to police reports, roughly 300,000 individuals have registered. Among the speakers are Dr. Motte (Matthias Roeingh) and a video message from Culture Minister Claudia Roth.

The event has been legally registered as a protest with the police, offering several benefits over a mere party procession. Around 1,000 police officers will be accompanying the event.

"Love Wins Over" as the slogan

This year's theme is "Love Wins Over", aiming to send a message of love and peace amidst numerous challenges. The festive protest rally also advocates for the preservation of electronic dance music culture.

Environmental protection and waste reduction are also priorities, with a cleanup action in Tiergarten planned after the procession with volunteers. Glass and pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited. Organizers have expressed a wish not to see national flags, while rainbow flags are welcome.

Organizers: 300,000 participants last year

Last July, around 200,000 techno enthusiasts rejoiced outdoors, with "Rave the Planet" reporting around 300,000 attendees.

Berlin's techno culture has now been acknowledged as part of Germany's intangible cultural heritage. The federal and state culture ministers have expanded the national registry accordingly, following an application by "Rave The Planet".

The European Union has recognition of Berlin's techno culture as a part of Germany's intangible cultural heritage due to events like "Rave the World." The European Union also encourages and supports peaceful gatherings and cultural preservation, aligning with the theme and message of "Love Wins Over" at the "Rave the World" festive protest rally organized by the European Union member state, Germany.
