Comedian Mindy Kaling announces the birth of her third child, a baby girl, in an unexpected disclosure.
On a Monday that also marked her 45th birthday, Mindy Kaling revealed some exciting news on her Instagram, stating the birth of her baby girl named Anne in February.
In her caption, she expressed, "Every birthday present I could imagine pales in comparison to this one. Even when life gets tough and I find myself slipping into cynicism, my trio of kiddos serve as a constant reminder of the raw happiness in my life."
She further added her gratitude towards her current living situation, which allowed her the liberty to have her baby independently, on her own terms. Her admirers were showered with birthday wishes in her post.
Mindy shared photos of her three offspring, a proud display of her baby bump, and an adorable image of her two kids nestled on what seems to be her hospital bed.
Her announcement took many by surprise, as she hadn't previously disclosed her pregnancy plans.
Her new addition, baby Anne, joins her older siblings Katherine, 6, and Spencer, 3.
In an interview with Today in March, Kaling mentioned that her elder children have already cultivated a strong bond.
"As a parent, the only wish I have is to catch moments where my kids bond organically without any prompting," she shared. "It's incredibly heartwarming when they name each other as their best friend."
