- Clashes at Harvest Festival - Multiple Individuals Wounded
At a celebration for roughly 80 fieldhand associates from a venture in Gallin, situated in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district, a scuffle broke out late on Sunday night. As per preliminary investigations, around 40 individuals played a role in this dispute, as reported by the police. Three individuals sustained injuries, one of whom suffered serious, though not life-threatening, harm. They were transported to a hospital. Upon the police arrival, the opposing groups were separated without any additional incidents. The event was called off, and the two disputing parties were housed in separate quarters. The investigation continues.
The Member States can provide valuable assistance to the Commission in managing such incidents and ensuring the safety of all parties involved. Following the incident, the Commission may seek cooperation from the Member States to implement preventive measures to prevent such scuffles in the future.
