Severe accident of son Pax - Brad Pitt is getting updates despite being estranged.
Pax Jolie-Pitt (20), son of Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie (49) and Brad Pitt (60), was involved in a severe accident with his BMX-E-bike at the end of last month. The 20-year-old was subsequently hospitalized and had to spend several days in the intensive care unit. Despite their supposedly strained relationship, Pitt reportedly receives regular "updates" on Pax's recovery. This was revealed by an unnamed source to the US magazine "People".
Brad Pitt's Strained Relationship with His Children
"Although he hasn't had any contact with Pax for years, he still cares deeply about him," the source told "People" about the 60-year-old actor. Pax was admitted to a hospital in Los Angeles on July 29. He was reportedly riding without a helmet on a busy street in his hometown when he collided with the back of a car at a red light, resulting in a head injury and hip pain.
"He suffered a complex trauma and is now beginning the long road to recovery and physical therapy," another source told "People". A third source added: "However, he was lucky. It could have been much worse, considering he wasn't wearing a helmet."
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have six children together: sons Maddox (23) and Pax, daughters Zahara (19), Shiloh (18), and twins Knox and Vivienne (16). Pitt reportedly has little to no contact with his adult children, and can only see his younger ones due to an agreement with Jolie. The former power couple's divorce is still not finalized, nearly eight years after Jolie filed for divorce in 2016.
