Biden planned to converse with Netanyahu on Wednesday, marking a crucial juncture in the Gaza negotiations.

The news, initially breaked by Axios, surfaces at a pivotal juncture in the Gaza truce talks, with Israel's US Secretary of State Antony Blinken previously labeling it as potentially the final chance, during a meeting early this week.

CNN is seeking a response from the White House on the matter.

Tuesday saw Netanyahu hinting at the likelihood of no agreement being reached between a hostage and truce deal, while emphasizing the IDF's intent to keep soldiers stationed in the Philadelphi corridor along the Egypt-Gaza border, instead of withdrawing. This point of contention has been causing a stalemate in the negotiations.

Representatives from various parties have been gathering this week to finalize the agreement terms, following a proposal proposed late last week by the US, Egypt, and Qatar to resolve the remaining discrepancies. CIA Director Bill Burns is predicted to travel back to Cairo for additional top-level discussions this weekend.

The ongoing Gaza truce talks have significantly influenced the political landscape, as the White House is closely monitoring developments.

The stalemate in the negotiations, primarily due to the dispute over troops deployment, has become a prominent topic in international politics.
