Following their divorce announcement, Jennifer Lopez (55) and Ben Affleck (52) won't be attending the "Unstoppable" film premiere together at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2024. Despite being the co-producer, Affleck won't be present for the screening of the sports drama, as per "People" magazine in the U.S.

Jennifer Lopez takes the leading role in the film "Unstoppable," co-produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's "Artists Equity." The actress intends to attend the festival personally, but her former partner won't be joining her. Their separation marks their first official event since Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on August 20, after just two years of marriage. However, Matt Damon (53), a friend and co-founder of the company, will be present.

In the drama "Unstoppable," which draws inspiration from a real-life story, Lopez portrays Anthony Robles' mother. Robles, a wrestler, managed to win the national NCAA championship in 2011 despite being born with only one leg.

The divergent journeys continue

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's professional tracks will still intersect in the future. Affleck continues to work as a co-producer alongside "Artists Equity" for her upcoming musical film "Kiss of the Spider Woman" (as of now, without a release date).

How much does she pay him?

In the summer of 2022, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot once again, approximately 20 years after canceling their initial engagement. As per reports from U.S. media, Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce on August 20. She noted April 26, 2024, as the date of separation. A reliable source confirms that in the divorce filing, she failed to seek spousal support for either party. Additionally, the divorce documents hint at a lack of a prenuptial agreement, implying that they will have to divide the wealth accumulated during their two-year marriage equally.

Despite Ben Affleck's absence, the "Unstoppable" film premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2024 is expected to be an unstoppable showcase of Jennifer Lopez's talent and resilience, given her powerful role in the sports drama.

Regardless of their personal circumstances, Ben Affleck's unwavering commitment to his co-producing duties with "Artists Equity" underscores their shared passion for creating compelling narratives.
