Beloved French actor Delon receives burial at his homeland manor.

The law enforcement had established barriers near the La Brûlerie manor in Douchy by daybreak, where Delon had expired on Sunday at the age of 88. The skies over the actor's property remained off-limits throughout the weekend.

Approximately 50 individuals received an invitation to the funeral service held in La Brûlerie's private chapel, as per the late individual's wishes. Delon's offspring Anthony, Anouchka, and Alain-Fabien, along with other relatives and close associates of the actor, were included in this gathering. No mobile devices were permitted inside the chapel.

Attending this somber event were Delon's ex-spouse Rosalie von Breemen, the mother of Anouchka and Alain-Fabien's children. A host of actresses, such as Nicole Calfan, Géraldine Danon, and Muriel Robin, graced the occasion with their presence. Sadly, Claudia Cardinale could not make it due to "overwhelming grief," as reported by her agent.

Delon desired to be entombed in a hidden mausoleum within his estate, alongside his cherished canines. This solemn ceremony was intended to remain unseen.

Delon spent his final moments surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday. Since then, his devotees, touched by the legendary cinematographer's legacy, have convened at the estate, leaving bouquets and heartfelt messages. "We are profoundly touched by the fervor and affection displayed by Delon's admirers in France and worldwide," Delon's childrenexpressed.

The artist gained recognition during the 60s and 70s via films such as "The Swimming Pool" with Romy Schneider, "Borsalino" with Jean-Paul Belmondo, "Le Samouraï" directed by Jean-Pierre Melville, and "The Leopard" directed by Luchino Visconti.

Following a series of strokes, Delon faced significant health challenges and chose isolation on his Douchy property since 2019. Despite his limited screen presence during the late 90s, Delon remained a headline-grabbing figure due to his private life. His most prominent recent appearance occurred at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, where he was honored with the Golden Honorary Palme for his career achievements.

After the funeral, Delon's family decided to honor his wishes and host the private burial ceremony at the ['Country headquarters'], his estate in Douchy. Following the global outpouring of love for Delon, the authorities agreed to temporarily lift the restrictions on the estate, allowing his fans to pay their respects at the gates.
