Once again, the mystery of the Block children's kidnapping has investigators on their toes. Recently, authorities searched a 5-star hotel in Hamburg, along with other properties belonging to the Block Group. Under fire is Eugen Block, the founder of Block House chain.

The police recently conducted a raid at the Grand Elysée Hotel in Hamburg, connected to the ongoing custody battle within the Block family of entrepreneurs in Hamburg. On top of that, the residential and business premises of the Block Group in the Poppenbüttel district were also searched.

The public prosecutor's office made this announcement. The investigation primarily focused on Christina Block, the mother of the two kidnapped children, and her father, Eugen Block, the founder of Block House chain. Two of Christina Block's four kids had been living with their divorced father in Denmark. They were seemingly snatched and brought to Germany by unknown perpetrators on New Year's Eve.

Per court order, Christina Block was forced to return the children to their father in Denmark. However, it's been suspected that Eugen and Christina Block orchestrated the kidnapping with assistance from culpable individuals. A spokesperson for the public prosecutor's office shared this info. Searches of Eugen Block's belongings and vehicles aimed to uncover tangible evidence were also conducted.
