Roaring loud, Lions! Ten years ago, the startup show "The Lion's Den" launched on Vox. The anniversary season promises surprises that will make long-time fans feel nostalgic.

"The Lion's Den" celebrates its anniversary. In 2014, the startup show launched on Vox. Since then, the basic principle of the show has remained the same: in each episode, the "Lions," or investors, compete for startup founders with the best business ideas. If a deal is made, the creative young entrepreneurs receive the necessary financial boost and the long-term expertise of the investors.

For its tenth birthday, Vox is treating Lion fans to a special anniversary season. Beauty expert and original Lion Judith Williams will be back after a year's break. It will be nostalgic in the anniversary episode (the fourth episode of the 16th season), as original Lions Jochen Schweizer and Frank Thelen will make a one-time return to the pride. The fixed Lion pride of the anniversary season includes family entrepreneur Dagmar Wöhrl, retail expert Ralf Dümmel, corporate CEO Nils Glagau, green tech investor Janna Ensthaler, economic heavyweight Carsten Maschmeyer, opinion maker Tijen Onaran, and food expert Tillman Schulz. Amiaz Habtu has been the moderator since the first episode.

Lions love vegetarian snacks during breaks

Over ten years of "The Lion's Den," 144 episodes have been broadcast, including two Christmas specials. Around 18,000 founders have applied during this time. Out of 772 pitches aired, 418 deals were made. Around 42,000 cups of coffee were drunk during recordings. Additionally, 550 kilograms of salted nuts and trail mix were consumed - these are the most popular snacks during breaks.

The anniversary season with eight new episodes starts on September 2nd at 8:15 PM on Vox. All episodes of "The Lion's Den" are also available for streaming on RTL+.

The anniversary season of "The Lion's Den" will include a special episode featuring original Lions Judith Williams, Jochen Schweizer, and Frank Thelen. Fans can now stream all episodes of "The Lion's Den" on RTL+, providing endless entertainment for fans of the show.
