Whilst Brad Pitt is situated in Venice - Angelina Jolie is exuberant in Colorado
Angelina Jolie (49) wrapped up another promotional stint for her movie "Maria" after her emotional exhibiting in Venice. On August 31st, she graced the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, with "Maria" by Chilean director Pablo Larraín (48) making its North American debut following its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
As per "Hollywood Reporter", Jolie is allegedly aiming for her second Oscar with her portrayal of opera singer Maria Callas (1923-1977). She donned a sophisticated gray dress with large sleeves, partnered with brown pointed heels and a bold black sunglasses for the premiere. She shared the limelight with stars like Naomi Watts (55) and Martha Stewart (83).
Side-Stepping an Uncomfortable Encounter
In Venice, Jolie unveiled the biopic five days prior. As mentioned by "People", her performance triggered unexpected emotions: a prolonged 8-minute standing ovation left her with teary eyes. Towards the end of the film, she dabbed away her tears and shared warm embraces, including one with director Pablo Larraín. After the screening, she left promptly, presumably to sidestep an awkward confrontation with an ex.
Brad Pitt (60) was spotted in Venice with his lover Ines de Ramon (31) over the weekend. The following day, September 1st, he attended the premiere of his latest film "Bullet Train" alongside his partner. The couple, who have reportedly been a duo for about two years, posed jovially with George Clooney (63) and his spouse Amal Clooney (46) for photographs, exuding happiness.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt tied the knot in 2014 but separated soon after. Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016, and the proceedings have been tense since. Despite the divorce being finalized in 2019, ongoing disagreements plague their divorce settlement. The former couple shares six children: Shiloh (18), Zahara (19), Pax (20), Maddox (23), and twins Knox and Vivienne (16).
While Brad Pitt is in Venice, he avoids any potential encounter with Angelina Jolie, as she had left Venice promptly after her movie's screening.
Although Brad Pitt is present at the Venice Film Festival, he focuses on promoting his film "Bullet Train," avoiding direct interaction with his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, who is also in Venice for her film "Maria."
