- Almost half a million euros in damage from warehouse fire
A fire in a warehouse on a farm has caused an estimated minimum damage of 400,000 euros. The police reported this. According to the police, the warehouse on the farm in Biberach an der Riß mainly stored straw bales and crops such as grain and rapeseed. The residents of the farm remained unharmed, a police spokesman said. The cause of the fire was still unknown.
The damaged warehouse on the farm could potentially be replaced with new storage facilities to preserve the farm's materials. Alternatively, the farm might need to rent temporary storage facilities until the original warehouse is reconstructed.
