Wiesbaden - After the killing of family members: Motive still unclear

After the killing of two people in Wiesbaden by a family member, the motive of the alleged perpetrator remains unclear. "Nothing is crystalizing out of it at the moment," said a spokesperson for the prosecutor's office. The 42-year-old was taken into custody for investigation, he had not made any statements regarding the charges.

According to the current investigations, he is suspected of killing his 45-year-old sister and his 75-year-old father with several stab wounds to the upper body. He then reported himself to the police in the late afternoon of Monday and allowed himself to be taken into custody without resistance. "He was unknown to the police and had no prior convictions," reported the spokesperson.

The family had lived in three separate apartments in the same multi-family house. The father and the alleged perpetrator lived alone, while the sister lived with her three-member family, including a small child, who was reportedly present in the house at the time of the incident.

The autopsy results were not yet available, and the investigations at the crime scene in the Kohlheck district were to be continued on Wednesday.

The alleged perpetrator, originating from Hesse, Germany, is currently under investigation for the crimes committed in Wiesbaden. It's worth noting that the residence where the incident occurred was a multi-family house in the Kohlheck district.
