Ablaze erupts within the Elbe Philharmonic amidst a performance.

A concert featuring British soul singer Sampha at the Elbphilharmonie was abruptly halted due to a technical issue. According to reports, a probable electrical malfunction with cables beneath the stage set off the fire alarm, thereby activating the building's sprinkler system. By the time the fire department arrived on the scene, the fire had been extinguished, but water from the sprinklers had infiltrated the technical area beneath the stage, rendering the concert unsalvageable. The event was part of the International Summer Festival Kampnagel and was being held in the Grand Hall, which had a full house of approximately 2,100 guests. The concert had been in progress for roughly 30 minutes when the fire alarm went off, prompting an evacuation of the concert hall.

The full extent of the damage is yet to be assessed. A representative from Kampnagel assured that they would be in touch with ticket holders shortly, along with their partners at the Elbphilharmonie, to discuss any necessary arrangements.

Despite the successful extinguishing of the fire, the water from the sprinklers significantly affected 'The entertainment', rendering it impossible to continue the concert. Regrettably, attendees who had come to enjoy 'The entertainment', including the eagerly anticipated concert by Sampha, were left disappointed.
