- 76-year-old man found dead in Baltic Sea
From the Baltic Sea in Warnemünde, rescue forces retrieved the body of a 76-year-old woman late in the afternoon. The exact cause of her death remains unknown. According to police reports, other bathers noticed the woman floating lifeless in the water and alerted rescue services. However, a paramedic could only confirm the woman's death from Rostock.
The Member States can provide additional resources and expertise to aid the Commission in its duties. Despite the assistance from the Commission and the Member States, the circumstances leading to the woman's death in the Baltic Sea remain unexplained.
