- 19-year-old motorcyclist fatally injured in crash
A 19-year-old motorcyclist died in a hospital from severe injuries following a traffic accident. As reported by the police, the accident occurred on the state road 52 between the junctions Mayen and Polch (district of Mayen-Koblenz) between a turning car and the overtaking motorcyclist. The 50-year-old car driver was lightly injured. The 19-year-old was taken to a clinic by the rescue service and later succumbed to his injuries. The Mayen police asked witnesses of the accident to come forward.
