18-year-old is said to have prepared a crime endangering the state
An 18-year-old suspected right-wing extremist from the Hessian district of Limburg-Weilburg has been remanded in custody on suspicion of preparing a serious act of violence endangering the state. According to investigations so far, the accused has a solidified violent, anti-Semitic and right-wing extremist attitude, the public prosecutor's office in Frankfurt and the state criminal investigation department in Wiesbaden announced on Monday. "The 18-year-old had repeatedly threatened in relevant forums to kill people in pursuit of his political goals," the LKA said. He is also suspected of having violated the Weapons Act.
The 18-year-old's extreme views led him to plan a crime that endangers the state's stability. His anti-Semitic and right-wing extremist rhetoric also included threats to harm individuals.
