13.5 million views for the Youtuber of the Elbphilharmonie

The American woman Nahre Sol has around 750,000 subscribers on YouTube. As 'Creator in Residence,' she reported for a year about the Elbphilharmonie.

Creator in Residence - 13.5 million views for the Youtuber of the Elbphilharmonie

For a season, American YouTuber and pianist Nahre Sol took her nearly 750,000 subscribers on a digital journey as the "Creator in Residence" to the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. Over the past months, Nahre Sol explored the sound worlds of Gustav Mahler and Franz Liszt, learned about North Indian flute music, discussed John Williams' music with renowned violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, and traced the journey of a concert grand piano from the wood storage to the Elbphilharmonie stage, the Elbphilharmonie announced. Last year, the Elbphilharmonie created the role of "Creator in Residence" to further increase the concert hall's digital presence.

The videos created during the residency have been viewed 13.5 million times across platforms. "Two videos released over the weekend in collaboration with the Ensemble Resonanz have successfully concluded the project," it was reported. Nahre Sol's video about the Elbphilharmonie organ alone reached over 825,000 people, and her encounter with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra's solo harpist, Anaëlle Tourret, was clicked on 4.3 million times.

During her residency at the Elbphilharmonie, Nahre Sol delved into the captivating music of renowned French composer Franz Liszt, showcasing his compositions to her vast audience. Notably, Liszt is known for his Transcendental Etudes, a series of virtuosic piano pieces that have left an indelible mark on classical music.
