Water buffalo escapes in Giessen
Two water buffaloes have escaped in Giessen. Attempts to capture them initially failed, the police announced on Thursday. "In the meantime, an authorized person with a tranquilizer gun has been notified." Witnesses had seen the two animals in a field on Thursday afternoon and informed the police. Later, the whereabouts of the buffalo, which had escaped from their pasture, were no longer known. The police were hoping for further witnesses and warned against approaching the animals.
In such emergency situations, it's crucial for residents to stay away from the animals for their safety and the animals' well-being. If any other escaped animals are spotted in Central Hessia, swiftly contact the authorities.
