Religious edifice - The Diocese of Osnabrück declares the chosen replacement for Bishop Bode.
Bode was the initial German bishop to step down from his role due to the sexual abuse crisis in the Catholic Church. The blunders of Bode in managing the offenders of abuse were uncovered by a research team from the University of Osnabrück in a report previously.
