In the second stage of the Brandenburg Football Cup, there's a redo of last year's finale up for grabs. On September 7, third division team Energie Cottbus goes head-to-head with regional league squad Babelsberg 03, as the draw has decided. Back in May 25, these two clubs clashed in the finale of the previous season. During that time, Energie Cottbus emerged victorious at their home Leag Energie Stadium with a score of 3:1. They bagged the double and earned promotion to the third division.
In the draw for the second stage of the Brandenburg Football Cup, it was determined that Energie Cottbus will face Babelsberg 03 again, just as they did in last year's finale. The rematch is scheduled for September 7 in Cottbus.
