Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) anticipates a vibrant and eclectic European Football Championship in Germany. "The Prime Minister is thrilled at the prospect of a rainbow of flags," shared his deputy government spokesperson, Wolfgang Büchner in Berlin.
"In addition to black, red, and gold, he's also eager to see a variety of other colors and flags from the participating teams." According to Büchner, Germany is Europe, and all football enthusiasts are cordially invited. He also hopes for "a celebration of camaraderie."
Scholz intends to back the German team and their coach Julian Nagelsmann for the initial match against Scotland. He's hoping for a solid beginning, according to his perspective. The Prime Minister expects to attend the final group game of the German squad against Switzerland on June 23 in Frankfurt am Main, as per Büchner's statement.
The Federal Government aspires to present an exciting football showcase and a fantastic few weeks for the citizens, who will cheer with the German team - in the stadium, in fan zones, at home, with family, friends, or at their local pub.
