Prince Louis helps Santa Claus
Soon Prince William and Princess Kate's children will definitely be able to look forward to Christmas presents. For now, however, they are helping to sort donated gifts for less well-off children. Prince Louis in particular stands out.
Prince Louis is already doing voluntary work at a young age - as befits a member of the royal family. The youngest offspring of heir to the throne Prince William and his wife, Princess Kate, visited a charitable organization that supports families. Louis joined his siblings, ten-year-old Prince George and eight-year-old Princess Charlotte, to help sort donations for Christmas.
The five-year-old, who wore a Fair Isle sweater over a checked shirt, seemed to have a lot of fun. In a video of the campaign, he can be seen sorting through bags of toys to choose presents for disadvantaged children. Among other things, Prince Louis marvels at a giant plastic King Kong. "That's a big guy!" he says to his sister in the clip.
The two older siblings were also dressed less formally for their job as volunteers than for their official appearances. George showed up in a blue sweater and jeans, Charlotte wore a burgundy top and denim skirt, while their mother can be seen in a white turtleneck sweater.
Prank at the Christmas concert
Prince Louis is known for being in a good mood at public appearances. The young royal had the laughs on his side again last Friday when he accompanied his parents and siblings to the royals' annual Christmas concert in London's Westminster Abbey and played a little prank on his sister. On leaving the church, Louis leaned over to Charlotte and cheekily blew out the candle she was holding.
Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte are said to be very close in general. Prince William once revealed about his two youngest children that Louis likes to imitate his sister in everything. Even when she dances around the house in a ballet outfit, he tries to do the same.
