Police in the Nordfriesland region are still searching for suspects after a 21-year-old woman was found dead in a forest near Niebuell. The spokesperson for the Flensburg State Prosecutor's Office confirmed that an investigation is ongoing in all directions, with no one currently suspected of the crime. Autopsies have confirmed that the woman was indeed the victim of a murder.

Her family reported her missing on Friday after she failed to check in as planned. She was later discovered in the forest on Saturday morning. The last time she was seen was around 8:00 p.m. on Friday, as she left her living facility to go exercise at Marschenpark in Niebuell.

In an effort to gather more information, the police and the State Prosecutor's Office have requested that anyone who was in the Marschenpark, the Wehle bathing area, or on the footpath close to the Wehlen ditch between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Friday come forward. Private and business owners in the area west of the railway line in Niebuell are also being asked to keep any surveillance footage or images before deleting them, and to contact the Flensburg police with any relevant information.

Additionally, anyone who observed people with unusually dirty clothes or hands in their neighborhood on Friday is encouraged to report it to the authorities. The police and State Prosecutor's Office are seeking any possible leads in this tragic case.
