Traffic - Pedestrian hit by garbage truck and seriously injured
A pedestrian has been hit and seriously injured by a refuse truck in the Lahn-Dill district. The 61-year-old was walking in front of the truck on the grounds of a petrol station in Mittenaar on Wednesday morning, according to the police in Giessen. The truck hit the pedestrian, who then fell. The garbage truck then ran over his feet. The injured man was taken to hospital, the refuse truck driver suffered a shock. An expert was commissioned to reconstruct the accident.
