In the Eichsfeld, a man was found trapped inside his car following a collision on Thursday. The severity of his injuries meant that the fire department had to free him, and a rescue helicopter was called in to transport him to a nearby hospital. Three additional individuals were wounded in this incident, which involved three cars between Hessenau and Schönau, within the Eichsfeldkreis. After the incident, the vehicles were towed away, and the Landstraße 3080 was closed for over three hours, according to authorities.
