Nienburg/Weser - a town in Lower Saxony, Germany. - Man meets unfortunate end after falling from paddleboard into lake
A man lost his life in the Heye lake, Nienburg/Weser district, as per the fire department's statement. The incident occurred on Thursday evening while he was using a paddleboard near Husum. His friend saw the entire ordeal. The rescuers, stationed at Samtgemeinde Mittelweser, rushed with their boats to the location and found the man unresponsive in the water. In spite of quick medical attention from a paramedic and rescue service members, the man could not be saved. Roughly 60 rescuers participated in this massive search operation.
