The Magic-Bike-Festival in Rüdesheim, Hessian Rheingau, started off on Thursday with 2,000 spectators and 200 motorcycles joining in. They were treated to a ride through the UNESCO World Heritage site of Upper Middle Rhine Valley, where they passed by castles and vineyards all the way to the Loreley Rock in St. Goarshausen, Rhineland-Palatinate. Organizer Bernhard Jung shared the exciting news, promising that around 25,000 to 30,000 people depending on the weather, as well as thousands of motorcycles from within and outside the country will be in attendance for the 22nd year of this event.

The festival continued on Saturday with a planned ride to the Kloster Eberbach in Eltville, famous for being the filming location of "The Name of the Rose." Music enthusiasts were excited about the fact that there would be three stages in Rüdesheim for various bands to perform, with US rock singer Suzi Quatro taking the reigns on Thursday and Swedish hard rock band Thundermother rocking the stage on Friday. A music fireworks display at the tourism-famous town was scheduled for Saturday, and a Biker Mass with motorcycle blessings on Sunday was the grand finale. The event ran smoothly, thanks to the dedication of the small association Buddies & Bikes.
