Macron acknowledged that Ukraine has voiced this desire. "In certain regions and under specific circumstances, it's more effective and convenient to train there," he explained. Therefore, it's a "legitimate demand."
The dispatch of Western military advisers does not signify an escalation. "It's not about sending European or allied military personnel to the front line. It's merely about recognizing Ukraine's sovereignty over its land," Macron clarified.
