Life imprisonment for 37-year-old in Aachen for murder of wife in front of DIY store
According to the indictment, the defendant met his separated wife in the parking lot of the DIY store on May 20 - allegedly to hand over their child. As the court has now established, he stabbed the woman there and killed her. She died at the scene.
With its verdict, the court followed the prosecution's request. At the beginning of the trial, the 37-year-old had reportedly confessed to the crime. The verdict against him is not yet final.
