Is the "Star Wars" series nearing its conclusion?

Back in 2012, when Disney acquired the rights to "Star Wars" from George Lucas, who would've guessed that it would lead to a headache? Today, the new "Star Wars" series "The Acolyte" is causing a global stir, and Disney is uncertain about how to market this new space-adventure. Should they emphasize LGBTQ+ and diversity, or stick with the classic elements of the galaxy far, far away?

Some are excited about this long-awaited departure, while others find it an inconvenience. It's easy to overlook what "Star Wars" is all about: a captivating space fairy tale.

"The Acolyte" starts off intriguingly, but unfortunately, it repeats the same mistakes as other "Star Wars" series and films.

Listen to a thorough critique of "The Acolyte" by Ronny Rüsch on the ntv podcast "Oscars & Raspberries." You'll also find reviews of the action movie "Godzilla Minus One," the drama "Dumb Money," and the animal horror film "In the Water of the Seine."
