Entertainer Thomas Gottschalk (74) has thanked Instagram for the numerous well-wishes on his engagement. Among the comments on his engagement post on the platform, he wrote himself: "Thank you for all the good wishes! It's nice that you all wish me happiness!"
"Forgot the engagement ring in the hotel safe"
In the post, the moderator is seen with his partner Karina Mroß, who is wearing a summer dress with a floral pattern. It looks like he is putting a ring on her finger in the picture. Thomas Gottschalk writes: "Perhaps you have already read it: I am engaged!" Further, the 74-year-old then relates on Instagram: "I had forgotten the engagement ring in the hotel safe and had to make a quick one out of bonbon paper. Remember: Never leave the real one out of the house!" An additional photo in the post also shows a sparkling ring.
Besides numerous fans, Thomas Gottschalk and Karina Mroß also received congratulations from prominent colleagues and colleagues on Instagram for their engagement: TV star Evelyn Burdecki (35) wrote: "How beautiful, love is in the air. Thomas Gottschalk has been divorced for a few weeks
The separation of Thomas and Thea Gottschalk (78) became public in 2019. The couple had married in 1976. Shortly after the separation, the moderator was first seen publicly with his new partner Karina Mroß in 2019. In May 2024, Gottschalk confirmed to the "Bild" newspaper that he had officially divorced from Thea. Therefore, the engagement with his new partner followed shortly afterwards.
