State Leader Stephan Weil (SPD) paid a visit to some reigning Harvest and Producet Queens from Lower Saxony on a Friday. The group consisted of the Asparagus Queen from Nienburg, the Potato Queen from Fallersleben, and the Harvest Queen-King duo from Scharmbeck. "Every region in Lower Saxony boasts unique culinary delights, distinctive landscapes, traditions, and culture - from strawberries to asparagus, and from rhododendron to heather. I'd like to take a moment to genuinely thank all Majesties for their selfless contributions and dedication they've shown towards their individual regions, thereby enhancing the aesthetic Lower Saxony as a whole," said the SPD representative during the afternoon reception at the State Government's Guest House.
