UEFA European Football Championship: A major football tournament held every four years amongst national teams of Europe. - Germany's foes Scotland finish initial session.

Scotland's Euro 2024 opener opponent had its first training session in Garmisch-Partenkirchen amidst hundreds of spectators and even children, all gathered to witness the unity of the national team under coach Steve Clarke, during dull skies.

Scott McTominay of Manchester United, who wasn't able to train fully prior to this, was also spotted, close to the popular Kandahar ski run. McTominay, a 27-year-old midfielder who scored seven goals in the qualifiers, is expected to be ready for Scotland's opening match of the Euros against Germany on Friday.

A "team of hearts"

Garmisch-Partenkirchen's first mayor Elisabeth Koch expressed her pride in her "already having a team of hearts - and that's the Scots," using the microphone at the stadium. While only a few Scottish flags were present, a man donning a kilt couldn't miss out on witnessing the Scottish team's first unit as they arrived in Germany on Sunday evening.

Despite being considered the underdogs, the Scots dare to hope for an upset Win using classic football principles. However, they face daunting challenges in Group A, with Germany, Switzerland and Hungary standing as their opponents.
