Current climate conditions - Fresh rains with thunderstorms anticipated in the southern regions of the nation.

Throughout the weekend, rain is anticipated across the area, according to a meteorologist from the DWD (German Weather Service). By Sunday and Monday, it's believed that water levels will begin to rise. As of now, it's unclear whether flood or heavy rain warning levels will be surpassed.

The flood forecasting team at the BWUA (Baden-Württemberg Environmental Agency) predicts that the shipping water level indicator at the Maxau gauge in Karlsruhe will be under the level II mark on Friday. However, a new exceedance is expected due to the imminent rain. Moreover, a potential water level hike is possible at the Bodensee gauge in Konstanz in the early part of next week.
