Sturm reassured fans stating, "There's not much to worry about, except for Coman, everyone else is feeling great and ready." During a press conference in Paderborn where the team is preparing for the tournament, Coman's condition was also discussed, and it was reported to be improving.

The French national team is set to kick off their tournament on Monday against Austria at 9pm CET on ARD and MagentaTV. Giroud spoke further about one of France's biggest concerns with Coman, who had been battling an inflammation of the nasal and pharyngeal passages. Trainer Didier Deschamps was also reported to be feeling unwell.

The absence of star player Kylian Mbappe was noticed during a public training session on Thursday, as he did not attend, due to his summer transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid. However, fans should not be alarmed, according to Giroud, as "he'll be ready for the first game." His teammate, former Munich player Benjamin Pavard, who spent seven years in the Bundesliga with VfB Stuttgart and FC Bayern, added his encouragement by saying, "He's an incredible player, and he'll have a great EURO."

Pavard also returned to Germany with fond memories, fondly recalling his time spent in the Bundesliga. He shared his experiences with a smile, saying, "I was only 19, 20 years old when I came here, and I immediately felt the German strictness. You have to give your all here." Pavard then expressed his joy from his time in Germany, mentioning the full stadiums.
