Blinken seeks backing for a fresh plan to halt hostilities in the Gaza Strip.

On Friday, President Joe Biden announced in a broadcast that Israel had put forth a "complete" plan for ceasefire settlements in Gaza. In this proposal, both sides would agree to a complete weapons ceasefire, with Israeli troops withdrawing from Gaza over a six-week period.
