Schalke 04 is said to have acquired young forward Peter Remmert, aged 18. The emerging talent was previously part of VfL Osnabrück's youth division and has now agreed to a four-year contract with the second division team, reportedly by the "Bild" newspaper on Tuesday.

At first, this information was not officially confirmed. Remmert would be the fifth new addition to the squad ahead of the upcoming season, following Anton Donkor, Adrian Gantenbein, Janik Bachmann, and Ron-Thorben Hoffmann.
