A woman bicyclist lost her life on Monday in Rostock after being hit by a car. The accident took place in the Kroepeliner-Tor-Vorstadt area during the afternoon hours. Authorities found the 47-year-old victim deceased at the scene. Initial findings indicate that an elderly man, 88 years old, backed his vehicle onto the street from a driveway without noticing the biker. The woman was fatally struck by the car and passed away immediately. A skilled investigator from the Rostock Police Department has taken over the case.
