President Herbert Hainer revealed this info in the summer edition of Bayern's member magazine, "51." This remarkable growth happened over the last year, where they gained around 30,000 new signed-up fans. Hainer says that this goes to show the strong connection the club has with its community, both locally and around the world. Even though their performance on the field might not be as strong as before, the team is still making a big impact off it. He believes that the club's values and actions outside the pitch have a lot to do with their increasing fan base.
