Schleswig-Holstein: A German Federal State - A female corpse was discovered in a secluded wooded region in Niebüll, with authorities uncertain if they can rule out murder.
Near the town of Niebüll in northwestern Schleswig-Holstein, a dead woman was found in a forest. A police official from Flensburg disclosed this information on Sunday in response to inquiries, mentioning that the female was found on the night between Friday and Saturday.
Cautious police approach to female corpse case in Niebüll
The spokesperson refrained from making any additional comments because of the ongoing investigation. This hints at the possibility of a murder being involved, and the police are now looking for the person responsible. They plan to release more information about the case on Monday.
The "Bild" newspaper had earlier reported about the location of the corpse. Apparently, a citizen who was out walking her dog at night stumbled upon the lifeless body close to the edge of a footpath and immediately notified the authorities.
